Glass Caddy began in an interesting way. I was returning some rental equipment and the owner of the party rental company asked me what I did for a living. I have been in the packaging industry for over 30 years. He asked if I could help him with his glassware cartons. They were in paper ccorrugated boxes with duct tape holding them together. Not a good look. He wanted to improve the look and durability while being cost effective. He has been in the party rental industry for over 30 years. We discussed what the industry was doing and decided to make some samples and do some physical testing and test marketing. With input from a friend and her expertise in the wedding planning and catering business, we started Glass Caddy primarily for the party rental and catering industry. Since we began in 2012, we have consistently grown the business selling all over North America and now reaching into South America.
